A strong design concept is the foundation of successful commercial design. It serves as a guiding framework that shapes every decision, from space planning to material selection. In commercial spaces—whether hospitality, retail, or corporate environments—a clear concept creates consistency, enhances brand identity, and ensures that the space not only looks cohesive but functions effectively. More than just aesthetics, the concept defines the experience, aligning the physical environment with the business’s values and goals to create spaces that are both purposeful and memorable.

Design Concept
The design concept for this venue is “Golden Ears.” Nestled amongst the trees on a scenic road winding into the entrance of the iconic Provincial Park, the goal is to create an environment which gives the same feeling at the surrounding location.
So much of design has to do with how we feel when we enter a space. Upon entering the park, we are drenched in rays of sunshine peaking through old growth and spilling across the street, we smell the river passing by only meters away and hear the chirping of surrounding birds.
The idea is to recreate this experience with added warmth, comfort and care. With exposed wooden beams, large skylights and curtain walls, a beautiful A-Frame roof, onyx bar and VIP booth, and a feature fountain wall partition, the ambiance is a mirror to the park. While serving satisfying, healthy, feel-good food and thoughtfully crafted beverages, we don’t stand out so much as we blend in.
